Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Production Manager role based in Delhi. The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, including planning and scheduling production, managing shop floor activities, and coordinating with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability. The role involves monitoring production quality, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Production Manager will supervise and guide production staff, track performance metrics, and resolve operational issues to meet delivery timelines and cost targets. The position also requires close collaboration with senior management to support strategic initiatives, capacity planning, and continuous optimization of production workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong production planning and coordination abilities, including workflow management, resource allocation, and scheduling.
• Experience overseeing manufacturing operations, preferably in textiles or a related industrial environment.
• Knowledge of quality control processes, safety standards, and compliance requirements in a factory setting.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience supervising teams, managing performance, and fostering a collaborative work culture.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify process bottlenecks, implement improvements, and maintain cost efficiency.
• Effective communication and documentation skills for reporting, cross-functional coordination, and interacting with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Comfort with basic production and inventory software tools; familiarity with ERP or similar systems is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textile Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Production Manager, Supervisor, or similar role in manufacturing will be beneficial.
