Marelli India in Manesar seeks a Maintenance Engineer to join the Propulsion team and report to the Maintenance Manager. The role requires shift work and hands-on leadership to keep critical equipment running.

You will design preventive maintenance, lead RCA investigations, manage spares, and ensure compliance with safety standards (LOTO, PTW, OSHA) and management systems (IATF16949, ISO 45001, 14001, EnMS 50001).

Qualifications

• B.Tech / Electrical / Instrumentation Electronics / Mechanical required.

Responsabilités

• Review daily planned vs actual for breakdown and find root cause, take countermeasures.
• Design and optimize scheduled maintenance routines based on equipment criticality to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and coordinate quick, effective repairs on mechanical, electrical, and automation (PLC) systems during emergency stoppages.
• Adherence to Preventive maintenance and planned maintenance to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
• Monitor periodical checks of equipment and machines to ensure proper functioning.
• Plan spare parts inventory and manage lifecycle without exceeding maintenance budget.
• Supervise and train team members to maintain KPIs like MTTR, MTBF, maintenance cost, % PM and % BM.
• Document maintenance activities per standards.
• Lead investigations into chronic or high-impact machine failures to implement improvement plans.
• Review daily work orders and documentation for data collection.
• Enforce safety protocols including LOTO, PTW, and OSHA compliance.
• Audit responsibilities across IATF16949, ISO, 45001, 14001, EnMS 50001.
• Ensure product behavior aligns with EnMS, EMS, and OHS guidelines; communicate EHS and EnMS standards to suppliers.

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the Propulsion team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. This position is based at our office in Manesar and the person will be required in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Review daily planed vs actual for Breakdown and find root cause, take countermeasures.
• Design and optimize scheduled maintenance routines based on equipment criticality to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and coordinate quick, effective repairs on highly complex mechanical, electrical, and automation (PLC) systems during emergency stoppages
• Adherence to Preventive maintenance and planned maintenance to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of equipments.
• To monitor the periodical checks of Equipments and machines are maintained properly and working correctly.
• Planning of Spares inventory manage the spare parts lifecycle, ensuring critical components are stocked without exceeding maintenance budget
• Supervise and train the team members as necessary able to Maintain KPI- MTTR, MTBF, Maintenance Cost ,% of PM and % of BM.
• Able to do necessary documentation as per Maintenance standards.
• Lead investigations into chronic or high-impact machine failures to eliminate repetitive operational issues execution of improvement plan activities.
• Review Daily work orders all documentation to ensure proper data collection.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Permit to Work (PTW) rules, and OSHA
• Responsible for all audits IATF16949, ISO, 45001, 14001 , EnMS 50001.
• Ensure the behaviour of the product in all the stages of life in accordance to all applicable guidelines i.e EnMS ,EMS ,OHS etc
• Responsible for communicate EHS and EnMS standard to suppliers.
