Job summary

Aditya Birla Group in India seeks an Application Engineer (Officer in Cement division) to support field operations, monitor delivery and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards at site. You will interact with customers, coordinate with plant QC, and report on variations from initial requirements.

Responsibilities include carrying out on-site tasks such as pumping, pouring, labour handling, and ensuring efficient plant performance while maintaining cost effectiveness and maximizing

• KRA1 Customer Management (R) Interact with customers during the execution and gather the feedback
• (R) Resolve problems on site pertaining to pumping, pouring and labour handling and escape non-resolvable issues
• KRA2 Product Delivery (R,A) Execute pouring at site after checking all necessary infrastructure and safety guidelines are met and report in case of any variations
• (R,A) Perform slump monitoring, cube casting, ensure effecient curing of concrete and coordinate with Plant QC Incharge in case of any issues
• (R,A) Track and monitor all variations from initial requirement to actual executions at site on the quality parameters and manpower related issues (if any)

As a major RMC player we face competition from other organized players and local players which makes superior service delivery along with quality products important for good margins. There is huge growth in infrastructure which opens up opportunities for setting up commercial and dedicated plants. The plant and its resources need to be cost effective with focus on maximizing capacity utilization. This makes it imperative for each plant to be efficient and profitable. The plant employees need to be focused and deliver high performance in each of their KRAs and accountabilities.
