Talent Corner Hr Services is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the end-to-end genset manufacturing operations. You will develop production plans, optimize manpower, machinery and materials, and monitor performance to meet delivery schedules.
The role emphasizes quality control, safety, lean improvement and cost management, with accountability for team leadership, CAPA, and efficient inventory and reporting to management.
Develop and implement production plans to meet business targets and customer delivery schedules. Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials. Monitor daily production performance and resolve bottlenecks.
Oversee end-to-end genset manufacturing processes including fabrication, assembly, wiring, testing, and dispatch. Ensure adherence to SOPs and standard manufacturing practices. Drive continuous improvement in productivity and efficiency.
Ensure all products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications. Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, testing, and compliance. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Lead, mentor, and manage production teams, supervisors, and shop-floor staff. Build a high-performance culture through training and performance management. Ensure proper workforce planning and discipline.
Monitor and control production costs, wastage, and rework. Improve cost efficiency through process optimization and lean practices.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machine uptime and preventive maintenance. Minimize breakdowns and production downtime.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and statutory regulations. Promote a safe working environment and conduct regular safety audits.
Coordinate with procurement and stores for availability of raw materials and components. Optimize inventory levels and reduce shortages/excess stock.
Prepare and present production reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to management. Analyze data to drive decision-making and improvements.
