Job summary

Shanti Educational Initiatives in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is seeking a Head of Production (Manufacturing) to lead end-to-end factory operations, ensure on-time delivery, and drive quality across production, QA, and testing.

You will manage PPC, inventory, vendor development, and cross-functional teams, with 10–15 years of experience in electrical panel or switchgear manufacturing; knowledge of Hindi and Gujarati is preferred. This role is based on-site at our factory in Gujarat.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering required.
• 10–15 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in electrical panel/switchgear/controls manufacturing advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end factory operations, including production, quality assurance, testing, and dispatch.
• Manage Production Planning & Control (PPC), inventory, and stock accuracy.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships for electrical components, cables, switchgear, and sheet-metal enclosures.
• Ensure timely production and delivery as per committed schedules.
• Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports and resolve customer quality complaints.
• Lead and monitor the performance of purchase, QA & testing, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities
