Job summary

People Pro Consulting is seeking a Head Manufacturing to lead end-to-end plant operations across production lines, driving productivity, quality, cost, delivery and safety for operational excellence.

The role requires a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S and Industry 4.0, with proven leadership in large teams and cross-functional collaboration to optimize OEE, capacity and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• MBA/PGDM in Operations preferred.
• Experience leading end-to-end plant manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete manufacturing operations across production lines and ensure achievement of production targets.
• Drive OEE, productivity, line efficiency, yield, capacity utilization and cost improvement.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage production planning, capacity utilization, manpower deployment and resource optimization.
• Lead NPI/NPD, product industrialization, pilot production and transition to mass production.
• Drive manufacturing cost reduction through productivity improvement, waste reduction and process optimization.
• Ensure quality standards, process discipline and reduction of rejection, rework and customer complaints.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance to improve machine availability and minimize downtime.
• Work with SCM, Purchase and Stores to ensure material availability and effective WIP management.
• Lead large manufacturing teams including staff, operators and contract workforce.
• Drive automation, digitization and Industry 4.0 / Smart Manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, safety requirements and audits.
• Support customer audits, volume ramp-ups and strategic manufacturing initiatives.
