Paras Engineering is seeking a Production Engineer for sheet metal fabrication and heavy engineering to plan, monitor, and control daily production activities.

You will read and interpret engineering drawings and BOM, supervise cutting, bending, welding, fitting and assembly, coordinate with fitters and operators, ensure dimensional accuracy, maintain records, and uphold safety and 5S/Lean improvements on the shop floor.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and BOM.
• Supervise sheet metal fabrication processes: cutting, bending, welding, fitting and assembly.
• Coordinate with fitters, welders, machine operators and shop staff to meet production targets.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, product quality, and compliance with drawings and specs.
• Monitor material usage, manpower and production schedules; maintain production records.

Roles & Responsibilities Production Engineer (Sheet Metal Fabrication / Heavy Engineering)

• Plan, monitor, and control daily production activities related to heavy sheet metal fabrication.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications.
• Supervise fabrication processes, including cutting, bending, welding, fitting, and assembly.
• Coordinate with fitters, welders, machine operators, and other production staff to achieve production targets.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, product quality, and compliance with drawing specifications.
• Monitor material consumption, manpower utilization, and production schedules.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BOM).
• Coordinate with the Quality Control and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues.
• Ensure timely completion of jobs while maintaining productivity and minimizing material wastage.
• Maintain production records, daily progress reports, and job-wise manufacturing status.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping on the shop floor.
• Process Improvement (5S / Lean): Drive cycle-time reduction, workplace organization (5S), scrap control, and kaizen initiatives to enhance shop-floor efficiency.
