• Execute PPC metrics monthly and daily based on material schedules and customer demand.
• Identify and resolve shop floor bottlenecks; minimize downtime and optimize raw material usage.
• Monitor product dimensions and structural integrity to comply with ISO/IATF, PPAP, APQP.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly and daily Production Planning & Control (PPC) metrics based on the material schedule and customer demand.
• Identify and resolve shop floor bottlenecks, minimize machine downtime, and optimize raw material utilization.
• Monitor product dimensions and structural integrity to maintain ISO/IATF compliance.
• Coordinate with maintenance for uptime calibration of presses and welding fixtures.
• Allocate duties and supervise shop-floor operators and contract manpower while enforcing 5S/Kaizen lean practices.

Core Responsibilities

• Shop Floor Management: Oversee shift operations across the sheet metal press shop, welding, and fabrication lines to meet daily production targets safely and efficiently.
• Production Planning & Execution: Execute monthly and daily Production Planning & Control (PPC) metrics based on the material schedule and customer demand.
• Process Optimization: Identify and resolve shop floor bottlenecks, minimize machine downtime, and optimize raw material utilization.
• Quality Compliance: Monitor product dimensions and structural integrity to maintain rigid automotive standardizations (ISO/IATF frameworks, PPAP, APQP).
• Tooling & Equipment Care: Coordinate closely with maintenance to ensure regular uptime calibration for mechanical/hydraulic presses, progressive dies, and welding fixtures.
• Workforce Supervision: Allocate duties and manage shop-floor operators and contract manpower while instilling 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing safety standards.

Required Technical Skills & Competencies

• Press Shop & Sheet Metal: Deep operational understanding of mechanical/hydraulic press lines, progressive stamping tools, shearing machines, and blanking dies.
• Fabrication Techniques: Practical knowledge of spot welding, CO2/MIG welding, robotic welding systems, and structural sheet metal bending assemblies.
• Drawing Interpretation: Proficient in reading engineering blueprints, tool layouts, GD&T symbols, and technical work instructions.
• Problem-Solving Core: Proven capability in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using CAPA mechanisms, 8D methodologies, and standard QC tools
