Job summary

Carrier Wheels Private Limited is a leading wheel manufacturer supplying OEMs for automotive, agricultural, construction sectors, with DSIR-certified R&D. We seek a production supervisor to monitor daily production, ensure smooth operations, and coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores to maintain target outputs.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in manufacturing, strong problem-solving, 5S knowledge, and Excel-based reporting.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
• Ensure smooth operation of wheel manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Monitor production output, rejection rates, and machine downtime.
• Ensure product quality as per defined standards and specifications.
• Identify production issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain daily production reports, shift reports, and other production records.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, tools, and raw materials.
• Follow safety guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and 5S practices on the shop floor.
• Support productivity improvement and rejection reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with production supervisors and operators to achieve daily targets.
• Assist in implementing process improvements to reduce wastage and improve efficiency.
• Ensure proper handling of materials and adherence to workplace safety standards.
• Monitor machine performance and report maintenance requirements to the Maintenance Department.

Job Description
