Job summary

JobItUs in Bhuj is seeking a Production Engineer with 1-4 years of experience in the chemical sector. You will oversee daily production activities, monitor key process parameters, and ensure safety and quality targets are met.

You will coordinate with QC, maintenance and planning teams, maintain records, and drive process improvements while guiding operators. This role requires strong Excel skills and diligent reporting in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in chemical production environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of process parameters and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily chemical production activities per plans and SOPs.
• Monitor temperature, pressure, pH, flow, and level.
• Operate reactors, pumps, filters, agitators, and other equipment.
• Ensure targets, quality and safety compliance are met.
• Coordinate with QC, Maintenance, Stores, EHS and Planning teams.
• Maintain batch records and production MIS.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper handling of chemicals, PPE, housekeeping, and EHS compliance.
• Support process improvement, wastage reduction, and productivity gains.
• Guide production operators and manpower.
