Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

  • Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

Experience

CNC Machine Operation
  • Operate and monitor CNC machines such as Mazak, Grob-1, and MAG machines used for machining of Cylinder Block, Cylinder Head, and Connecting Rod.
  • Perform setup, tool offset corrections, and basic CNC programming adjustments.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of machine with minimum downtime.
Production & Quality Control
  • Achieve daily production targets for Cylinder Block, Head, and Connecting Rod lines.
  • Carry out first-off inspection , in-process quality checks, and maintain dimensional accuracy as per drawing.
  • Reduce rejections, rework, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Cutting Tool & Process Knowledge
  • Handle cutting tool selection, tool life monitoring, and tool offset adjustments.
  • Monitor tool wear and coordinate with tooling team for timely replacements.
  • Suggest improvements in cutting parameters for better cycle time and tool life.
5S Implementation
  • Maintain 5S, safety, and TPM practices on shop floor.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, fixtures, and gauges of Machine.
  • Support preventive maintenance activities and machine health monitoring.
  • Qualification - Diploma
  • Experience - min 3 years.
