Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• This position may require licensing for export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities

• Stop work and report major injury hazards and any work-related injuries.
• Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations; use appropriate PPE.
• Follow standard work, process documentation and quality procedures (SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards).
• Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product meeting customer specs.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and perform routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with peers, skilled trades and support staff to identify equipment needing repair.
• Communicate effectively with the team and support groups; participate in training and personal development.
• Learn HT and LV winding manufacturing processes.

Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment. Promote interdependence by looking out for one another. Quality Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards. Delivery Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations. Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks. Education, Licenses, Certifications

Role Specific Details

• The role is based at the CGT supplier location in Bangalore and requires working in shifts.

• Expected to learn and gain hands-on experience in HT and LV winding manufacturing processes.
