About the Role

We are looking for a Production Assistant to support our production team in the day-to-day manufacturing activities of industrial pumps. The ideal candidate should be a technically inclined, responsible, and enthusiastic individual who is willing to learn and develop practical knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the production team in daily pump manufacturing and assembly activities.
• Support supervisors and production engineers in achieving daily production targets.
• Coordinate with shop-floor operators for smooth production activities.
• Assist in monitoring assembly, machining, testing, and finishing processes.
• Maintain basic production records, checklists, and documentation.
• Ensure materials, components, tools, and drawings are available as required.
• Follow company procedures related to quality, safety, and 5S.
• Assist in identifying and reporting production issues, defects, or material shortages.
• Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Maintenance, and Purchase departments whenever required.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 0-1 year

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of manufacturing and mechanical components.
• Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel and Word.
