Job summary

Craftsman Furniture Kasheli, Bhiwandi, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at our furniture manufacturing facility and coordinate teams across carpentry, upholstery, finishing, assembly, packing and dispatch.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on knowledge of furniture production, strong Excel skills, and the ability to plan production, prioritise orders and report progress to management.

Qualifications

• 38 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or furniture factory operations.
• Strong practical knowledge of furniture production processes.
• Experience managing and coordinating factory workers.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations at a furniture manufacturing facility.
• Manage and coordinate workers across different stages of furniture production.
• Allocate work according to production requirements and order priorities.
• Monitor ongoing orders and ensure production targets and timelines are met.

• Identify production delays, material shortages and other issues and take timely action.
• Coordinate with stores and purchase teams regarding raw materials and components.
• Monitor worker attendance, productivity and allocation of work.
• Maintain daily production records and reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Coordinate with the B2B and sales teams regarding production status and pending orders.
• Ensure the factory floor and production process remain organised and efficient.
• Report daily production progress, delays and important issues to management.

• Ability to plan production and prioritise multiple orders.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve day-to-day production issues independently.
• Experience with sofas, beds, dining furniture, wooden furniture or similar products will be preferred.
• Experience handling customised or B2B furniture orders will be an advantage.
• Candidates should be comfortable working from our Kasheli, Bhiwandi facility.
• The role may occasionally require extended working hours depending on production requirements.
