Job summary

Insightsoftware is seeking a Product Owner for Regulatory Solutions to translate regulatory needs into actionable user stories for an agile team. You will drive ESG reporting, regulatory filings, and Solvency II packages, collaborating with Product Managers, Engineering, Support, and Sales to deliver compliant, value-driven solutions.

The role requires deep regulatory domain knowledge, strong communication, and a track record of shaping product roadmaps across the EPM Suite; experience with XBRL

Qualifications

• Bachelor0A0degree required.
• 5+ years in product ownership or management.
• 5+ years experience with agile software development practices (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• 5+ years ability to negotiate a backlog with engineers and senior leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of XBRL and regulatory filings (ESEF, iXBRL, SEC/EDGAR).
• Domain experience in Solvency II, CSRD/ESG reporting, IFRS or similar.

A member of the Product Management team, you’ll work closely with an agile team of Software and Quality Engineers, serving as the interface between our customers and the development team throughout the planning and software development process.You will collaborate closely with internal customers (Product Management, Engineering, Support, Customer Success) and external customers — including regulated financial institutions and compliance teams — to understand regulatory business processes and identify how our solutions can address their filing and disclosure needs. Working closely with Product Managers across the EPM Suite on requirements definition, documenting proposed regulatory software solutions, and maintaining a prioritized backlog of issues.The ideal candidate should be highly collaborative with the ability to lead cross-functionally and inspire our teams while remaining focused on results and value creation.
