Job summary

Capco in India (Bangalore/Chennai) is seeking a Business Analyst/Product Owner on a hybrid basis to drive Credit Transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with SMEs and Owners to shape the backlog and deliver essential capabilities for the credit assessment process.

You will draft user stories, participate in Scrum ceremonies, and support UAT and rollout with a data-driven, continuous improvement mindset. Capco values diversity and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis or product owner roles in financial services
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to document clearly

Responsibilities

• Deliver functional capabilities for Credit Transformation products and initiatives primarily focusing on the credit assessment process
• Draft and refine user stories, including detailed acceptance criteria
• Consult with the Cluster/Chief/Product Owners and SMEs to prioritise and shape the product backlog, using Agile best practices for prioritisation around business value
• Excellent documentation skills, ability to convey complex information with objectivity and brevity
• Participate in and facilitate relevant scrum ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, review, and retrospective sessions
• Support build and test activities
• Assist in implementation / rollout including UAT, user trainings, UVT and post go-live support
• Proactively support Agile practices and foster a culture of continuous service improvement
• Drive continuous improvements on processes and user experience using a data driven, structured approach
