Job summary

ABB Motion, Bangalore, India, seeks a Domain Expert and Product Owner for AC & DC Drive software configuration and commissioning tools. You will translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and guide the R&D team to timely, quality releases in a hybrid work model.

You will own delivery roadmap, ensure tool scalability and maintainability, supervise feature development, and drive test automation while minimizing technical debt.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in electrical or power electronic engineering from a reputed university.
• 8–10 years of experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of AC, DC, servo drives and different motor types.
• Experience in Scaled Agile/Scrum; CSPO certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver software configuration and commissioning tools for AC/DC drives.
• Translate domain requirements from stakeholders and communicate with the team.
• Own delivery roadmap, ensure quality and timely releases, and manage technical debt.
• Ensure scalability and maintainability of tools across releases.
