Product & Marketing Executive
Location - Peeragarhi, New Delhi
Experience - 2+ years
Job Purpose
To support product planning, new product launches, product marketing, market intelligence, promotional activities, artwork and packaging, product availability, inventory monitoring, and related commercial operations. The role is responsible for day-to-day execution, coordination, follow-up, data compilation, MIS and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Planning & New Product Launches
- Assist in product planning and execution of assigned product-related activities.
- Coordinate and track new product launches covering approvals, documentation, artwork, packaging, production, and stock availability.
- Maintain product and launch trackers and follow up with concerned departments, vendors, and Third-Party Manufacturers (TPMs).
- Track timelines, highlight delays/issues, and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
2. Market Intelligence & Product Marketing
- Collect market feedback, product requirements, and competitor information including products, prices, pack sizes, schemes, and promotional activities.
- Prepare competitor comparison and market intelligence reports and track relevant market developments and new launches.
- Assist in product marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with Design/Artwork and Sales teams for preparation, approval, and distribution of marketing and promotional materials.
3. Sales Schemes & Promotional Items
- Assist in implementation and monitoring of sales schemes and promotional initiatives.
- Maintain scheme-wise targets, achievement, performance, and promotional stock records.
- Coordinate procurement, availability, and distribution of promotional items.
- Prepare scheme/promotional reports and highlight pending requirements, shortages, or delays.
4. Production, Factory Orders & Product Availability
- Prepare and follow up on factory orders based on business requirements.
- Coordinate with Plants and Third-Party Manufacturers for production schedules, order status, and deliveries.
- Monitor product availability, stock-outs, low-stock products, and critical shortages.
- Coordinate with Sales, Production, Purchase, C&F, and other concerned teams for timely resolution of availability issues.
- Escalate critical delays, shortages, and unresolved issues to the reporting manager.
5. Inventory Monitoring
- Monitor inventory across active SKUs and C&F locations and prepare regular stock reports.
- Identify low-stock/critical products and monitor stock coverage.
- Track near-expiry, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.
- Coordinate stock transfers, liquidation, and other inventory-related actions with concerned teams.
6. Artwork, Packaging & Documentation
- Coordinate product artwork and packaging activities, including revisions, approvals, and implementation.
- Maintain artwork status and pending activity trackers.
- Coordinate with Design/Artwork and relevant departments for timely completion.
- Maintain product documentation, affidavits, brand records, and other relevant documents.
7. Vendor & Third-Party Manufacturer Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors and Third-Party Manufacturers for production, order execution, delivery, and documentation updates.
- Maintain vendor/manufacturer records and track pending activities.
- Follow up on agreed timelines and highlight delays or service issues for timely resolution.
8. MIS, Reporting & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Prepare regular product, marketing, sales, inventory, production, and launch MIS.
- Compile data from various departments and prepare Excel-based reports, dashboards, presentations, and trackers.
- Maintain action trackers and follow up on assigned activities and pending action points.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Production, Purchase, QA/QC, Finance, C&F, Design/Artwork, vendors, and TPMs.
- Support review meetings with required data, reports, and status updates.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of reports and escalation of critical issues.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical Product Management, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain Coordination, or related functions.
- Experience in Generic / Branded Generic Pharmaceutical companies preferred.
- Exposure to product launches, market intelligence, MIS, production coordination, inventory, and cross-functional operations preferred.
- Experience working with manufacturing units, Third-Party Manufacturers, vendors, C&F, and Sales/Field Force teams will be an advantage.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline; preferably B. Pharma / M. Pharma / MBA (Marketing) / PGDM (Marketing) or relevant qualification.
- Candidates with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience may be considered based on their functional experience and skills.
