Job summary

AndPayments is seeking a Product Manager to own the end-to-end UPI merchant experience, from onboarding to dispute resolution, on a compliance-first foundation designed for global scale.

You will shape the merchant roadmap, activation metrics, and ecosystem partnerships, leveraging AI to drive research, PRDs, and synthesis while navigating a fintech landscape at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, with fintech/payments experience
• Proven track record of shipping zero-to-one products
• Strong understanding of how payments move, fail, and get resolved
• Analytical rigour; SQL/spreadsheet proficiency expected
• Comfort with ambiguity and incomplete information

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UPI merchant roadmap: onboarding, settlement, reconciliation, disputes
• Track merchant onboarding & activation metrics: time-to-first-transaction, drop-off, completion rate
• Make compliance-first product decisions with Legal & Compliance on NPCI/RBI frameworks
• Develop ecosystem & partnership strategy with networks, aggregators, and adjacent players
• Lead AI-first workflows for research, PRDs, and synthesis with sound judgement

UPI processes billions of transactions a month — yet for merchants, it's still harder to use than it should be. Onboarding is fragmented, reporting is opaque, and disputes are slow.

We're looking for a PM to own the end-to-end UPI merchant experience at AndPayments — from how a business gets onboarded to how it resolves a payment failure at midnight.

What you'll own:

• End-to-end UPI merchant roadmap – collection flows, settlement logic, reconciliation, dispute resolution
• Merchant onboarding & activation metrics – time-to-first-transaction, drop-off, completion rate
• Compliance-first product decisions – working directly with Legal & Compliance from day one on NPCI/RBI frameworks
• Ecosystem & partnership strategy – integrations with networks, aggregators & adjacent players
• AI-first workflows – using AI for research, PRDs, and synthesis, with your judgement driving quality

What we're looking for:
