Job summary

UST is seeking a strategic Product Manager to lead the transformation of a next-generation Clinical Trial Platform. You will define product strategy, drive business process modernization, and enable workflow automation with AI-powered capabilities across the trial lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall professional experience in product roles.
• 5+ years in Product Management, Ownership, or Leadership.
• Proven experience leading large-scale platform modernization or enterprise tech initiatives.
• Experience with globally distributed business and tech teams.
• Hands-on with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Miro, Figma, and AI productivity platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, roadmap and MVP for Clinical Trial Platform.
• Drive discovery, stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering and backlog prioritization.
• Prioritize initiatives based on value, user needs, impact and objectives.
• Establish metrics and monitor product performance and adoption.
• Lead digital transformation of clinical trial operations and automate core processes.
• Translate requirements into scalable platform capabilities and features.
• Coordinate with Business, Automation, Product and Engineering teams; lead workshops and executive discussions.
• Identify and prioritize AI/GenAI use cases; implement copilots, knowledge assistants, auto document generation, and workflow recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering in Agile delivery; define user stories, acceptance criteria, release plans, increments.
• Track ROI, adoption metrics and value realization against goals.

Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Product Manager to lead the transformation of a next-generation Clinical Trial Platform. This role will be responsible for defining product strategy, driving business process modernization, enabling workflow automation, and integrating AI-powered capabilities across the end-to-end clinical trial lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will act as the critical link between business stakeholders, product engineering teams, process transformation leaders, automation specialists, UX designers, and architects to build a scalable, intelligent platform that enhances operational efficiency, workflow orchestration, visibility, and clinical trial execution.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap Management

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and MVP approach for the Clinical Trial Platform.
• Drive product discovery, customer and stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and backlog prioritization.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business value, user needs, operational impact, and strategic objectives.
• Establish measurable success metrics and continuously monitor product performance and adoption.

Clinical Trial Business Transformation

• Lead digital transformation initiatives across clinical trial operations.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate core business processes.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable platform capabilities and product features.
• Drive process optimization and operational excellence through technology-enabled transformation.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership

• Serve as the primary liaison between Business, Automation, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, requirement reviews, and executive stakeholder discussions.
• Build alignment across business and technology stakeholders to ensure successful execution and adoption.
• Communicate product strategy, priorities, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.

AI, GenAI & Intelligent Automation

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-value AI and Generative AI use cases across the clinical trial ecosystem.
• Drive the implementation of intelligent capabilities, including:
  • AI Copilots
  • Knowledge Assistants
  • Automated Document Generation
  • Workflow Recommendations
  • Predictive Analytics
  • Intelligent Decision Support
• Partner closely with automation and data teams to improve efficiency, productivity, and user experience.

Product Delivery & Value Realization

• Collaborate with engineering teams in Agile delivery environments.
• Define user stories, acceptance criteria, release plans, and product increments.
• Ensure successful product delivery through continuous stakeholder engagement and prioritization.
• Track business outcomes, adoption metrics, ROI, and value realization against strategic goals.

Experience

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Product Leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading large-scale platform modernization, digital transformation, or enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience working with globally distributed business and technology teams.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Miro, Figma, and AI productivity platforms such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude.
