Job summary

GeneX India is seeking a senior professional to lead genomics product strategy and market development. You will drive NGS-related solutions, engage with laboratories and institutes, and deliver technical demonstrations and trainings to advance adoption.

The role requires strong presentation skills, deep genomics knowledge, and the ability to travel for customer meetings, workshops, and events to support growth and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Genomics, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology or related field.
• 3+ years in genomics, NGS, product management, applications, or technical sales.
• Strong understanding of sequencing workflows and genomics applications.
• Excellent technical presentation and customer engagement skills.

• Support products and workflows related to NGS, sequencing, target enrichment, library preparation, or related applications.
• Understand customer research objectives and identify appropriate product solutions.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions.
• Develop product literature, application notes, presentations, and sales-enablement material.
• Track market trends, competitor offerings, pricing, and customer requirements.
• Build relationships with genomics laboratories, universities, research institutes, biotech companies, CROs, and pharmaceutical R&D teams.
• Support customer evaluations, quotations, tenders, product trials, and opportunity conversion.
• Coordinate with international principals, technical teams, applications specialists, marketing, and sales.
• Monitor product pipeline, adoption, revenue, and customer feedback.

Preferred candidate profile

• Masters degree or PhD in Genomics, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in genomics, NGS, molecular biology, product management, applications, technical sales, or business development.
• Strong understanding of sequencing workflows and genomics applications.
• Strong technical presentation and customer-engagement skills.
• Ability to travel for customer meetings, conferences, workshops, and training.

Good To Have

• Experience working with academic, clinical, or industry genomics customers.
• Experience with product launches, sales training, or technical marketing in genomics.
• Familiarity with principal companies and distributor networks in the genomics space.
