Job summary

Eka.care is a leading HealthTech startup in India focused on AI-enabled clinical workflows. We are seeking a Product Manager to own one or more AI verticals such as Voice AI (EkaScribe) or Eka Agents, defining product scope, success metrics, and guardrails that keep AI outputs safe in real clinical environments.

You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and designers to deploy AI solutions inside clinics and hospitals, and to build evaluation systems that ensure trusted, high‑quality

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of product management experience, ideally on AI/ML or platform products.
• Hands-on experience building AI products such as voice AI, conversational AI, or agents.
• Genuine fluency with large language models and agentic systems, able to reason about prompts, tool use, evaluations, & failure modes without needing a translator.
• Technical understanding of how APIs and SDKs work, backed by hands-on experience shipping against them.
• Strong judgment on AI safety and trust trade-offs in healthcare, and clear communication with ML engineers, clinical stakeholders, and enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for your vertical, from what it does for the doctor to how it lands in the clinic and the hospital.
• Partner with data scientists and AI engineers on model selection, prompting, tool use, retrieval, speech pipelines, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Define what good looks like for your product's output, and build the evaluation systems that hold it to that bar.
• Translate ambiguous clinical problems into scoped product behaviors with explicit guardrails and clear safety gates.
• Lead enterprise and government client engagements, and define the metrics that matter: task completion rate, escalation rate, missed‑escalation rate, and user trust.

Our products span ambient clinical documentation (EkaScribe), an EMR trusted by thousands of doctors across clinics and hospitals, personal health records, and developer infrastructure. Our systems are already live at scale — and we're now pushing the frontier of what AI agents can do inside real clinical environments.

About the Role

As Product Manager, you will own one or more of our AI verticals, such as Voice AI (EkaScribe) or Eka Agents, that sit inside the doctor's and hospital's daily workflow. You will define what these products do, build the evaluation systems that keep them safe, and deploy them with marquee enterprise and government clients. You will work shoulder to shoulder with data scientists, engineers, and designers across the platform's pillars.

What You Will Do

What We Are Looking For

• 2‑6 years of product management experience, ideally on AI/ML or platform products
• Hands‑on experience building AI products such as voice AI, conversational AI, or agents

• Technical understanding of how APIs and SDKs work, backed by hands‑on experience shipping against them
• Strong judgment on AI safety and trust trade‑offs in healthcare, and clear communication that works equally well with ML engineers, clinical stakeholders, and enterprise clients

Nice to Have

• Understanding of healthcare data standards and structured medical records such as FHIR, SNOMED, and HL7
• Prior work in health tech, digital health, or a clinical informatics role
