Job summary

Comviva Technology seeks a senior product manager to own the strategy, vision, and roadmap for mobiquity One, Cards-as-a-Service and Wallet-as-a-Service offerings in embedded payments and digital wallets.

You will define customer segments, market positioning, and commercial models, collaborate with sales, engineering, and partners, and drive scalable API-first payment capabilities, card issuance, and wallet features while ensuring security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, vision, roadmap, and commercial success of CaaS and WaaS offerings.
• Define target segments, use cases, market positioning across payments and wallets.
• Drive API-first, scalable payment, wallet, and card capabilities for digital merchants and enterprise customers.
• Define end-to-end payment journeys including settlement and reconciliation.
• Own Cards-as-a-Service, including issuance, tokenization, and controls.
• Lead Wallet-as-a-Service strategy including transfers and interoperability.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, customer success, engineering, architecture, delivery, and partners.
• Translate requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive product discovery, customer engagement, solution workshops, and demos.
• Ensure scalability, security, resilience, and developer experience.
• Define packaging, pricing strategies, business cases, and go-to-market plans.
• Monitor adoption, transaction volumes, revenue growth, and platform utilization.
• Build partnerships with banks, card networks, and fintechs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, vision, roadmap, and commercial success of mobiquity One, Cards-as-a-Service (CaaS), and Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS) offerings.
• Define target customer segments, use cases, market positioning, and product propositions across embedded payments, digital wallets, card issuance, and related financial services.
• Drive the development of API-first, scalable, and configurable payment, wallet, and card capabilities for digital merchants and enterprise customers.
• Define and manage end-to-end payment journeys, including payment acceptance, orchestration, routing, settlement, refunds, reconciliation, and transaction management.
• Own the Cards-as-a-Service proposition, covering card issuance, lifecycle management, tokenization, transaction controls, program management, and integration with banking and card ecosystem partners.
• Lead the Wallet-as-a-Service product strategy, including wallet creation, stored value management, transfers, merchant payments, cash-in/cash-out, funding, withdrawals, fee management, and interoperability.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, customer success, engineering, architecture, delivery, and external partners to build scalable and reusable product capabilities.
• Translate customer and market requirements into product roadmaps, epics, user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive product discovery, customer engagement, solution workshops, demonstrations, strategic sales support, and feedback-driven product enhancements.
• Ensure high standards of scalability, security, resilience, performance, API usability, and developer experience.
• Define product packaging, pricing strategies, business cases, commercial models, and go-to-market plans.
• Monitor and drive key business outcomes including customer adoption, transaction volumes, revenue growth, profitability, and platform utilization.
• Build and manage partnerships with banks, card networks, payment processors, fintechs, acquirers, and ecosystem providers.
• Embed regulatory, risk, security, fraud prevention, KYC/KYB, AML, PCI DSS, and compliance requirements into product design and delivery.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong product management experience in payments, fintech, digital banking, embedded finance, or financial technology products.
• Hands-on expertise in digital wallets, payments, and transaction processing ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end payments lifecycle, including authorization, processing, clearing, settlement, refunds, reversals, reconciliation, and exception management.
• Experience managing products related to:
  • Digital wallets and mobile money
  • Payment gateways and acquiring
  • Card issuing and processing
  • Embedded payments and embedded finance
  • API-based financial services platforms
• Strong knowledge of wallet capabilities, including onboarding, stored value, transfers, merchant payments, cash-in/cash-out, account management, limits, fees, and transaction controls.
• Experience working with banks, fintechs, merchants, payment service providers, card networks, and payment ecosystem stakeholders.
• Ability to define product strategies, roadmaps, commercial models, and market positioning.
• Strong understanding of APIs, platform architecture, and integration ecosystems.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable platform capabilities and product requirements.
• Strong analytical, commercial, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively across business, customer-facing, and technology teams.

Desirable Skills

• Experience managing products across multiple geographies and regulatory environments.
• Exposure to SaaS, PaaS, API-led, subscription-based, usage-based, transaction-based, or revenue-sharing business models.
• Understanding of payment economics, including interchange, scheme fees, processing costs, pricing models, and partner commercials.
• Experience in building and scaling embedded finance, card, wallet, or payments platforms.
• Familiarity with product commercialization, sales enablement, partner ecosystems, and go-to-market execution.
• Strong platform-thinking mindset with the ability to balance market-specific needs and standardized product development.
