Job summary

CheQ Digital Private Limited is seeking a Product Manager for its Lending team to own key parts of the personal loans journey, collaborating with engineering, design, risk, compliance, and business teams to build simple, compliant, and useful products for users.

You will drive the lending experience end-to-end, from application and KYC to disbursal and repayment, while balancing regulatory constraints and user impact. This role is ideal for a PM who thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in product management, with demonstrated ownership of lending, personal loans, or credit products.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end lending lifecycle from application to repayment/collections.
• Working knowledge of RBI digital lending guidelines and regulatory constraints.

Responsibilities

• Independently own the product roadmap for specific lending journeys (e.g., loan application flow, eligibility checks, disbursal, repayment, collections experience).
• Translate business and regulatory requirements (RBI digital lending guidelines, KYC, FLDG norms) into detailed product specs and drive them through to launch.
• Partner with engineering and design to ship features end-to-end, balancing user experience with regulatory and risk constraints.
• Own funnel analysis, conversion metrics, and cohort behaviour to identify and resolve friction points across the loan lifecycle.
• Work closely with risk and credit teams to understand underwriting logic and translate it into product decisions.
• Manage relationships with lending partners (NBFCs/banks) and internal compliance to ensure product changes meet regulatory requirements.
• Design and run A/B tests to improve onboarding, KYC, and disbursal conversion.
• Mentor junior PMs or associate PMs on specs, prioritization, and stakeholder management.

What you’ll be doing

We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Lending team and drivethe personal loans and credit product experience. You'll independently own keyparts of the lending journey — working closely with engineering, design, risk,compliance, and business teams to build products that are simple, compliant,and genuinely useful for our users.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3years of experience in product management, with demonstrated ownership oflending, personal loans, or credit products (fintech, NBFC preferred)


• Solidunderstanding of the end-to-end lending lifecycle — application, KYC,underwriting, disbursal, repayment/collections


• Workingknowledge of RBI digital lending guidelines and how regulatory constraintsshape product decisions


• Stronganalytical skills — comfortable independently running funnel analysis,cohort analysis, and SQL queries


• Provenability to write clear PRDs and drive cross-functional execution withminimal oversight


• Experiencecollaborating directly experience collaborating with partner lending banksand NBFCs
