Job summary

CheQ Digital Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an Assistant Manager – Finance to own the book closure, coordinate with statutory and internal auditors, and support investor and regulatory due diligence, ensuring robust tax compliance. You will manage end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and prepare MIS (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) while maintaining accurate GL records per Ind AS.

The role requires CA qualification with 0-2 years post-qualification experience, strong Excel

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant; 0-2 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act 2013, GST Act, and Income Tax Act.
• Articleship with a CA firm or BFSI/fintech exposure preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; ERP tools experience.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools SQL, Power BI, Tableau desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual book closing process and perform reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare MIS reports – P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and maintain accurate GL records and ensure adherence to Ind AS standards.
• Coordinate statutory auditors and internal audits; track observations and drive closure with cross-functional teams.
• Support investor and regulatory due diligence, and assist with tax compliance tasks.

What you'll be doing

• As an Assistant Manager – Finance, you will be a keymember of the core finance team supporting the financial operations of ahigh-volume B2C fintech business. You will own book closure, coordinate withstatutory and internal auditors, support investor and regulatory due diligence,and ensure robust tax compliance.
• Own the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annualbook closing process and perform reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare MIS reports – P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and maintain accurate GL records and ensure adherence to Ind AS standards.

Statutory & Internal Audit

• Coordinate with statutory auditors for quarterly reviews and annualaudit; support internal audits covering reconciliations and fraudprovisions.
• Prepare financial statements, disclosures and workpapers.
• Track audit observations and drive timely closure with product,tech, and ops teams.
• Prepare historical financials, loan book summaries, cohort data,and key metrics for investor/lender queries.
• Coordinate DD responses across investors and co-lending partners;liaise with legal, compliance, and secretarial teams.

Tax Compliance

File GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9) and manage TDS filing; supportadvance tax workings, ITR filing, and reconcile GST ITC ledgers.

What you'll need

• QualifiedChartered Accountant; 0-2 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Ind AS,Companies Act 2013, GST Act, and Income Tax Act.
• Articleship with a CA firm or industryexposure in BFSI / fintech / consumer tech is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experiencewith ERP tools (Tally & Zoho Books) preferred.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools(SQL, Power BI, Tableau) is desirable but not mandatory.
