Job summary

Hindustan Pencils is seeking a proactive professional to drive product launch execution across its portfolio in India. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and external agencies to meet timelines and maintain quality.

You will collaborate with consumer feedback teams to address quality issues quickly, and you will contribute to product design, packaging, and market performance tracking to stay ahead of competition. Domestic travel will be involved.

• Market & Performance Tracking: analyze margins and trends, report to sales.
• Field Engagement: travel across the country to gather insights with the sales team.

Job description

Job Purpose

• Product Launch Execution: Ensure execution of annual product launch plans to meet category and P&L

objectives, managing cross-functional teams and third-party agencies to meet timelines;

• Quality & Consumer Feedback: Work closely with the consumer feedback team to ensure quick

redressal of product quality issues;

• Product Design & Development: Ideate and execute product design and packaging as per market

requirement, drafting product specifications and USPs, and identifying potential products based on gaps versus competition;

• Market & Performance Tracking: Track contribution margin against category benchmarks, analyse

market trends, opportunities and threats, and stay connected with the sales team to assess product performance;

• Field Engagement: Travel across the country and work closely with the sales team to meet market

requirements, gather insights, and address product-related issues
