Job summary

Pricol is seeking a Project Management professional in Tamil Nadu to drive end-to-end automotive electronics development from concept through SOP and ramp-up. You will coordinate hardware, software, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to meet milestones and ensure quality objectives.

Experience with APQP/PPAP, ECUs and embedded systems is valued, along with hands-on use of MS Project, Excel, SAP, and PLM tools. The role emphasizes strong tracking, risk management, and production readiness.

Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Communications, EEE, E&I, Mechanical or related field.
  • Experience in PM/Program Coordination in automotive electronics domain.
  • Strong knowledge of APQP/PPAP/DFMEA/PFMEA/Control Plan/MSA/SPC.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams incl. Hardware, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, SC.
  • Familiarity with ECUs, sensors, embedded systems preferred.
  • Hands-on use of MS Project, Excel, SAP, PLM tools (Teamcenter/Windchill).
  • Knowledge of ECR/ECN, BOM management & config control.
  • Strong project tracking, milestone mgmt, production launch readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end execution of automotive electronics development projects from concept to SOP.
  • Track schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with Hardware, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to meet objectives.
  • Support APQP execution, PPAP submissions, ECR/ECN processes, and production readiness.
  • Monitor prototype builds, validation activities, tooling readiness, and launches.
  • Prepare project dashboards, status reports, and management reviews.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for component development & production support.
  • Assist issue resolution, risk mitigation, and escalation during execution.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal quality systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning, execution and delivery.

1. Qualifications:


  • a) B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline with 1825 years of experience in Project Management or Program Coordination within the automotive electronics domain.

  • b) Good understanding of Automotive Product Development Lifecycle (NPD/NPI) and project execution for electronic products.

  • c) Strong knowledge of Automotive Quality Core Tools such as APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.

  • d) Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams across Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Supplier Development.

  • e) Familiarity with automotive electronics products such as ECUs, sensors, controllers, or embedded systems is preferred.

  • f) Hands-on experience with MS Project, Excel, SAP, and PLM tools such as Teamcenter or Windchill.

  • g) Knowledge of Engineering Change Management (ECR/ECN), BOM management, and configuration control.

  • h) Strong understanding of project tracking, milestone management, and production launch readiness.

  • i) Ensure compliance with automotive customer requirements, APQP processes, and internal quality systems.

  • j) Drive continuous improvement in project execution, planning efficiency, and delivery performance.
