Hical Technologies Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru seeks a Product Development Expert to lead new product development of electromechanical products including motors, actuators and mechanisms. You will build concept models, proto models and preproduction samples and manage assembly and testing activities.

The role requires hands-on NPD experience, CAD skills, and the ability to work across production and development with a strong focus on precision engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in new product development of electromechanical products.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechatronics/Mechanical engineering.
• Hands-on NPD and production process experience for electromechanical systems.

Responsabilités

• Develop new products and launch to production for motors, actuators and mechanisms.
• Create concept models, proto models and preproduction samples.
• Oversee electrical and mechanical assembly of EM products.
• Prepare test rigs and support NPD testing activities.
• Draft assembly processes and work instructions.
• Identify and maintain tools, gauges and fixtures for NPD.
• Train and supervise juniors/technicians for AIT activities.
• Support performance and environmental testing of EM products.
• Apply precision mechanics knowledge in a mixed development/production environment.

• Hands on experience in New Product Development and production process of Electromechanical products.
• Expertise in AIT of precision products like EM linear actuators, EM Rotary actuators, Servo motors, Gear assembly, Bearing and Ball/Roller screw assemblies, scanning mechanisms.
• Expertise in manufacturing of special purpose motors like armature winding, potting, Magnet assemblies, rotor balancing.
• Experience in Aerospace, Space and Defense industry.
• Working knowledge in modelling and drafting using CAD packages.
• Innovative thinking for troubleshooting and failure analysis.

Roles And Responsibilities

• You will be the key responsible to develop new products and launch to production a broad variety of Electromechanical products – Motors, Actuators, Solenoid Valves and Mechanisms
• Responsible for New product development by building the Concept models, Proto models and Preproduction Engineering samples.
• Responsible for Electrical and Mechanical assembly of Electromechanical products
• Responsible to prepare test rig and support testing activity for NPD.
• Responsible to prepare assembly process and work instructions documents.
• Responsible to identify and maintain necessary Tools, Gauges and Fixtures necessary for NPD.
• Responsible to train, guide and supervise the Juniors/technicians for the AIT activity.
• You will support Performance test and environmental testing of the EM products.
• To be successful, you need to have a solid understanding of precision mechanics and be comfortable in an environment that combines product development, small series production and custom engineering solutions.
