Job summary

Svitch is hiring a CAD / Production Design Engineer to translate concepts into production-ready engineering designs for automotive, EV, and motorcycle products. You will develop robust 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings while ensuring manufacturability, quality, and cost optimization.

Collaborate with Styling, CAE, Manufacturing and suppliers throughout the product development lifecycle to deliver designs from concept to mass production.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience producing manufacturing-ready CAD models and drawings.
• Knowledge of DFMEA/DFM/DFA and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Develop production CAD models and 2D drawings for components and assemblies.
• Ensure designs meet DFMEA, DFM, DFA and GD&T standards.
• Support product development from concept to mass production.
• Review supplier drawings and tooling feasibility.
• Assist supplier development through tooling, prototype and production stages.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD / Production Design Engineer to transform product concepts and styling data into production-ready engineering designs for automotive, EV, and motorcycle products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation while ensuring manufacturability, quality, cost optimization, and compliance with industry standards. The role requires close collaboration with Styling, CAE, Manufacturing, Quality, Suppliers, and Cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Develop high-quality 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for production components and assemblies.
• Ensure designs comply with DFMEA, DFM, DFA, and GD&T standards.
• Support complete product development from concept to mass production.
