Ascendum Solutions India is seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer to support automotive product design and development. The candidate should have experience in 2D/3D CAD modelling, PDM/PLM systems, and GD&T, with exposure to automotive components and manufacturing processes.

The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams to support product development and design validation, and ensuring accurate drawings and data management throughout the lifecycle.

Formación

Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD design, modelling, and drafting.
Familiarity with PDM/PLM for product data and lifecycle management.
Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
Experience with automotive components, sheet metal, plastics, piping and cabling.

Responsabilidades

Create and modify 2D/3D CAD models and drawings.
Utilize PDM/PLM systems for data management and workflow.
Interpret GD&T for design validation and manufacturing.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to support product development and design validation.
