Job summary

Acim Global Appliance is seeking a Project Manager to define scope and objectives, ensure on-time deliverables, and manage changes in schedule and costs. You will develop detailed project plans and coordinate with internal and external clients across departments for aligned execution in the Nidec GA - Cold segment.

Ideal candidates have experience in project management, cost analysis, and Six Sigma, with strong English communication and knowledge of Windchill and SAP ERP.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Higher Education.
• Desirable: Post-Graduation in Project Management.
• Knowledge of Windchill and SAP ERP.
• Hard skills: Project Management, Cost Analysis, Six Sigma, refrigeration systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Act in the definition of the project scope and objectives, involving relevant areas and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, within budget, and at the planned quality level.
• Elaborate detailed project plans, plan and monitor the progress of ongoing projects, manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Work directly with external and internal clients to ensure deliverables are within the applicable scope and timeframe, coordinate and align with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible as needed to meet client needs.
• Approve the technical certifications and risk management documents for new developments in the Nidec GA - Cold segment, ensuring that product requirements (performance, reliability, cost) are met and best engineering practices are adopted.
• Support other areas, such as Procurement (component development and supplier certification), Quality and Operations (internal and external quality issues), Sales and Technical Support (samples, compressor homologation with the client), Logistics (phasein/phase-out plan), PMO (local and corporate) by providing product technical expertise.
• Supervise, balance workloads, and audit projects before release for production to ensure that all customer requirements, compliance, and quality procedures have been considered in the design.

Preferred candidate profile

EDUCATION

• Minimum: Higher Education
• Necessary Courses, areas of specialization, and knowledge: Mechanical / Electrical /Production Engineering and or related
• Desirable: Post-Graduation in Project Management

KNOWLEDGE

• Minimum: Advanced English
• Desirable: Fluent English; Advanced Portuguese
• Hard Skills: Project Management , Cost Analysis , Knowledge of problem-solving analysis tools, e.g., Six Sigma , knowledge in the application of refrigeration systems.
