Job summary

AXIS DIRECT is seeking a Product Designer UX/UI & AI to own end-to-end digital experiences across web, mobile, and digital platforms. The role focuses on UX/UI design, visual design, design systems, user research, rapid prototyping and AI-enabled design to create simple, intuitive customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design/UX/UI.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UX for web and mobile customer journeys.
• Translate customer needs into intuitive product experiences.
• Define user flows, personas, journey maps, information architecture and interaction models.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and production-ready UI designs.
• Develop and maintain Design Systems, visual language and interaction patterns.
• Use GenAI and AI-assisted tools for research, ideation, design and prototyping.
• Design AI-enabled experiences such as AI copilots, conversational interfaces, intelligent recommendations and agentic journeys.
• Rapidly convert ideas into prototypes and validate solutions with users and stakeholders.
• Conduct user research, usability testing and journey analysis.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data/AI, Marketing, Operations and Business teams.
• Participate in product discovery, solution design and roadmap discussions.
• Conduct UX audits and design reviews and ensure usability, accessibility and consistency.
• Track key experience metrics such as conversion, engagement, task completion and drop-offs.

About the Role

What We’re Looking For

• 5 plus years of experience in Product Design / UX / UI Design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design ownership.
• Strong expertise in Figma and Design Systems.
• Good understanding of web and mobile UX/UI design.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI / AI-assisted design tools and workflows.
• Experience working with Product and Engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of customer journeys, usability and product metrics.
• Ability to simplify complex financial, FinTech or technology products.
