Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on UI/UX design with a strong portfolio of web and mobile products.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Fine Arts, CS or related field (or equivalent).
• Expert proficiency in Figma; working knowledge of Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Strong grounding in UX principles: information architecture, interaction design, user-centred design and design thinking.

We are seeking a seasoned UI/UX Designer with 10+ years of experience to lead the design of intuitive, scalable and visually compelling digital products across web, mobile and SaaS platforms. You will own the end-to-end design process, set design standards, mentor the team, and partner closely with product, engineering, data/AI and business stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences. A key part of the role is designing AI-powered features and leveraging AI tools to make the design process faster and smarter.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process: research, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI and developer handoff.
• Translate business goals and user needs into clear product strategies and design solutions.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, stakeholder interviews and competitive analysis to drive data-informed decisions.
• Create and maintain a scalable design system, component library and brand-consistent style guides.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers and QA to ensure designs are implemented accurately and on time.
• Present design concepts and rationale to senior leadership and clients, and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Mentor and review the work of junior and mid-level designers, raising the overall design quality bar.
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG), responsiveness and consistency across devices and platforms.
• Define and track UX metrics (task success, conversion, usability scores) and iterate on designs based on insights.
• Design intuitive AI-driven experiences such as copilots, chat and conversational interfaces, smart recommendations, automation and predictive features.
• Define UX patterns for AI interactions: prompt/input design, transparency, user control, feedback loops, confidence indicators and graceful handling of errors or uncertain outputs.
• Work closely with ML/AI engineers and data teams to understand model capabilities and limitations, and shape responsible, trustworthy AI experiences.
• Integrate AI tools into the design workflow (research synthesis, ideation, copy, asset generation, rapid prototyping) to improve speed and quality while maintaining design judgement.
• Stay current with design trends, tools and emerging technologies, including generative AI and AI-assisted design workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Fine Arts, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio of web and mobile products.
• Expert proficiency in Figma; working knowledge of Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator and prototyping tools (Framer, ProtoPie, etc.).
• Strong grounding in UX principles: information architecture, interaction design, user-centred design and design thinking.
• Proven experience building and governing design systems.
• Strong understanding of human-centred AI/UX principles: explainability, trust, ethics, bias and privacy considerations in AI products.
• Hands-on experience with AI design tools and assistants (e.g. Figma AI, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Claude, Uizard, Galileo AI) and a practical approach to prompting.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS and front-end constraints to enable smooth design-to-dev collaboration.
• Excellent communication, storytelling and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

Good to Have

• Experience designing AI-first or AI-enabled products (LLM-based assistants, copilots, recommendation or analytics engines).
• Familiarity with conversational design, prompt design and designing for voice or multimodal interfaces.
• Experience designing B2B SaaS, dashboards, analytics or enterprise products.
• Exposure to motion design, micro-interactions and basic illustration or iconography.
• Experience leading or managing a design team.
• Experience designing for international markets and multi-language interfaces.
