Designation: Product Designer

Job Purpose

Authoring user journeys, wireframes, and visual design (UX/UI). Collaborating with the IT team for technology development, testing, and launching of digital assets. Continuously improving and enhancing existing digital assets using customer feedback and data analysis. Delivering best‑in‑class digital customer experience across Aditya Birla Capital digital assets.

Job Context and Challenges

The Aditya Birla Capital (ABCL) operates across multiple verticals including lending, insurance, mutual funds, wealth management and retail broking. The role focuses on integrating strategic alliances and fintech partnerships centrally to maximise benefits at optimal economics. Key challenges include:

• Competing with VC‑funded fintechs that invest long‑term while ABCL uses an annual break‑even model.
• Creating innovative and agile tech solutions within a traditionally‑focused tech environment.
• Ensuring simple, 3‑click digital journeys for product purchases and supporting call‑centre desks for cases requiring agent interaction.

Additional responsibilities involve delivering best‑in‑class digital products in a rapidly changing fintech landscape, driving adoption of digital assets to acquire leads, customers and revenue, and ensuring UI/UX synergy across lines of business.

Key Result Areas

• KRA1: Digital Customer Experience Management – Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements; author and validate business requirement documents; drive UI/UX design with agencies; coordinate with tech teams for development; perform UAT and flag development errors; analyze data and consumer feedback to iterate on product improvements.
• KRA2: Project Management – Articulate customer requirements to business stakeholders; coordinate with shared service tech teams, business tech teams, and the business digital team for integration; manage project execution; conduct testing and provide feedback for modifications.
• KRA3: Driving Customer Journey‑Centricity Across LOBs – Collaborate with business units to define and articulate critical customer journeys that drive new demand and support existing customers; help implement key customer‑experience improvement projects to deliver maximum value.
