As a Lead – design , you will be responsible for scaling the biggest product to serve the growing needs of our sellers. You may work on improving customer engagement by driving product initiatives from inception through execution.

The Aditya Birla Capital (ABCL) has diverse, industry-leading businesses across multiple verticals, including lending, life insurance, health insurance, insurance booking, mutual funds, housing finance, wealth management, insurance advisory services, retail broking, distribution of third party products etc. The rationale for the role lies in advantage of integrating strategic alliances and fintech partnerships centrally for pan-ABCL to maximise benefit at the most optimum economics.

Challenges

• Build world-class digital platforms in a space where our competitors have already evolved their digital product offerings.
• Aligning Digital Heads, along with each of their one downs to ensure effective alignment and rollout of ABC Digital guidelines to drive UI/UX synergy.
• Our tech approach is traditional which creates a challenge in imagining and delivering innovative and agile tech solutions for new-age user experience.
• Develop seller empathy to raise plans and build products to satisfy their needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with: Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Risk.

Key Result Areas

KRA1: Product Development / Enhancement

• Product Development / enhancement plan for various existing products on existing platforms or through APIs on partner pages
• Understand requirement jointly with respective product teams, BSG-IT and other stakeholders and undertake development of the requirements for the channel
• Overlook progress of development throughout the life-cycle for on-time project delivery
• Testing of the new developments for bug‑testing / process gaps and take corrective action
• Undertake enhancements for the various products to keep it relevant at all times

KRA2: Journey management for various products

• Support to channel to ensure delivery of different project journeys
• Align and prioritize projects with the help of business projections
• Review feedback from channel to enhance the digital experience

KRA3: Competition Benchmarking

• Competition Benchmarking for the products managed for channel
• Review competition offerings for capabilities, features, process, UI/UX and benchmark it to the banks offering

KRA4: Live Projects

• Ensure go-live for projects / processes as well as support management and co‑ordination for the project from concept initiation to Go Live
