Product Design Lead – VP
Purpose of the Role
To create user‑centred and visually appealing designs for digital banking products by conducting user research, designing user interfaces and experiences, collaborating with stakeholders, and continuously improving product quality.
Accountabilities
- Execute user research and usability tests to understand customer needs, pain points, and integrate feedback and preferences into banking products and services, in collaboration with product managers and developers.
- Create intuitive and user‑friendly interfaces for digital banking platforms and applications to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Design and maintain visually appealing and consistent user interfaces that align with the bank’s brand identity and design guidelines across digital products.
- Produce wireframes and interactive prototypes for visualisation and testing of product concepts and features before development.
- Ensure accessibility compliance so designs provide an inclusive experience for all users.
- Monitor industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design quality and innovation.

Required Qualifications
To be a successful Product Design Lead you should have experience with:
- Proven design leadership in engineering‑led organisations
- Local site design leadership/management
- End‑to‑end product design
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration with engineering (ENG) and product teams
- Experience working with a global team
- 10+ years of professional experience
