Job summary

Shortlist Design is seeking a Product Design Manager to lead the design of our fintech product suite from Gurgaon, on-site. You should already be at Design Lead level with 7+ years of experience and be ready to drive a design-driven transformation.

You will mentor design teams and collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to deliver compelling, scalable UX that solves real customer problems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience.
• Onsite in Gurgaon or willing to relocate.
• Must be a Product Design Lead or above.

Responsibilities

• Define kick-ass user experiences for fintech products used daily by customers.
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to understand user challenges and deliver intuitive UX.

Product Design Manager (Directly with our client)

Onsite - Gurgaon

What you should have

• Min of 7 years of Product Design Experience.
• Should be in Gurgaon or ready to relocate (Onsite & 5 days in-office role)
• Must be a Product Design Lead already or above Lead level.

Must to have Skills:

Design Practitioner- You must have been a great designer by passion, designing highly scalable consumer focused product experience through data-backed approach and competitive design mapping that not only solves user problems but also retain them.

Problem Solving- You should be open to changing your own opinion, curious to hear different perspective and brainstorm with stakeholders such as product team etc, to get to any final conclusion on how to solve a challenging design problems.

Design Mentor- You are a design coach who inspire other design folks with your design and approach towards solving a problem. Should be able to understand the art of sharing design feedback with the design team especially with change in tone that is needed with Junior Designers vs Senior Designers.

Dealer in Hope- You should be able to handle cross functional teams and be as the centre of hope to the design problems & for the design teams in managing any tough situations or decision making. You have fair understanding about tech functions to make actionable design approaches.

Your daily Job Includes:

You will be responsible to define kick-ass user experience for building our product as the best fin-tech product that users love to interact with.

Work closely with product teams & other cross functional teams to figure out user challenges on a regular basis and solve them with intuitive user experience.

Create unique design system & design process for our product to scale design, includes creating design assets, that are not-seen outside, highly efficient in solving financial problems and are sellable.

Focus on business plan and align the design expectations & deliverables.

Should have proven experience of providing Design Leadership to set the overall Design Direction for the organisation, hold command on the overall key product initiatives.

You should have managed at-least 5 to 8 strong Product Design member Team, with some of

members being leaders and seniors, and with different design skills that are essential to build the best

Communication: Should be able to share more with less words, should drive Design, should be able to

clearly articulate, communicate with different critical stakeholders across the organisation and be able to translate the design requirement to the engineering team and drive right accountability framework.

People & Culture: Setting lean organisational culture by inculcating Industry Best Practices & having

proven experience in Succession Planning, Building high performing teams, Creating Great Work Ethic asa part of daily routine.
