Job summary

AppsForBharat in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Product Designer to craft AI-first consumer experiences at scale. You will own end-to-end design for mobile and web, shaping 0→1 explorations and scalable features that impact engagement and business metrics.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of consumer-facing digital product design experience.

• Fluency with Figma and prototyping tools; collaboration with product and engineers.
• Experience mentoring designers and influencing team quality.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for key product experiences across mobile and web.

Job Title: Product Designer (AI-First Consumer Tech)

Role Type: Full-time

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who can craft intuitive, scalable,

AI-powered consumer experiences while driving product outcomes at scale.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong design fundamentals, systems

thinking, business understanding, and execution speed. We want someone who

doesn't just design screens, but deeply understands user behavior, business impact,

and how great design moves key metrics.

You'll work on 0→1 product explorations, AI-first experiences, core product journeys,

and scaled features that influence how millions experience devotion and spirituality

digitally.

As a senior member of the design team, you'll also play a key role in mentoring

designers, shaping design culture, and raising the quality bar across the organization.

What Y ou'll Do

• Own end-to-end design for key product experiences across mobile and web
• Drive 0→1 product initiatives from problem discovery to launch
• Design intuitive, AI-powered consumer experiences that solve real user problems
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Business teams to define problems, identify opportunities, and measure success
• Create high-quality wireframes, prototypes, interaction flows, and polished UI designs
• Think beyond usability and evaluate design decisions through the lens of business impact, user engagement, retention, and conversion metrics
• Use user research, behavioral data, experimentation, and usability findings validate and improve designs
• Contribute to and evolve design systems to ensure consistency and scalability Leverage modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) extensively in the design workflow for ideation, research, content generation, prototyping, and productivity
• Mentor and guide junior product designers through reviews, feedback, and structured design thinking
• Communicate design rationale and strategic thinking clearly to stakeholders across functions

What We're Looking For

• 3-6 years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products (B2C, social, gaming, fintech, content, or high-engagement apps)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design, visual design, systems thinking, and end to end problem solving.
• Proven experience building and launching 0→1 products or major new product experiences
• Strong understanding of metrics-driven design and the ability to connect design decisions with business outcomes.
• Ability to evaluate UX trade-offs through the lens of user value, growth, engagement, retention, and monetization
• Extensive use of AI tools such as Claude Design
• Fluency in Figma and comfort with prototyping and interaction design tools
• Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers in fast-paced environments
• Demonstrated ability to mentor designers and elevate team quality through feedback and coaching
• Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
• Excitement about building products at the intersection of Consumer, AI and FaithTech
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and move quickly from insight to execution
