Job summary

Emerson in Pune, India seeks a detail-oriented mechanical design engineer to contribute to electro-mechanical product development. You will apply mechanics fundamentals, GD&T, DFMEA and tolerance analysis to deliver robust solutions.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering and 2–6 years of design experience, with proficiency in Creo (or SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and strong collaboration skills across teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electro mechanical product design & development
• Strong proficiency in Creo CAD is an advantage (Or SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Understanding of mechanics, DFMEA, DFA, materials, GD&T, and tolerance analysis
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, sheet metal, casting (pressure die casting)
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and apply analytical problem‑solving methods
• Good communication, teamwork, and project coordination skills.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Knowledge of electro mechanical product design & development knowledge
