Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely trade capture, pricing, and position reporting for Minerals/Metals.
• Produce and explain daily P&L, including attribution and drivers.
• Monitor and manage risk exposure, including hedging strategies.
• Analyze deal economics, market structure and pricing dynamics.
• Support trade execution and logistics flows for Minerals/Metals shipments.
• Coordinate across JV locations and time zones with clear communication.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Middle Officer to support our business, which is minerals/metals oriented. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, robust risk management, and supporting commercial decision-making across the full trade lifecycle. As the JV spans multiple locations and time zones, strong communication and coordination skills are essential to the role.

The successful candidate will act as a key interface between front office and internal stakeholders, bringing hands-on experience in metals trading, pricing, and trade execution. A strong understanding of trade economics, PL attribution, and market dynamics is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely trade capture, pricing, and position reporting for the Minerals / Metals business
• Produce and explain daily PL, including detailed attribution and analysis of key drivers
• Monitor and manage risk exposure, including hedging strategies and pricing mechanisms
• Analyze deal economics, market structure, and pricing dynamics
• Support trade execution and logistics flows for Minerals / Metals shipments
• Coordinate effectively across the JV's different locations and time zones, ensuring clear and timely communication with colleagues and stakeholders regardless of geography
