Engati Technologies Inc. in Pune invites a Senior Engineer - Procurement to join our SCM team at the Jejuri office.

You will develop the supply chain for a new product line, maintain relationships with suppliers, and ensure uninterrupted production. The role requires hands-on sourcing of fabricated, machined, and engineered components, direct and indirect materials, and strong techno-commercial negotiation within the Oil & Gas sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of procurement experience in Oil & Gas or related sectors.
• Experience with fabrication, piping spools, and supplier base near Pune.

Responsibilities

• Develop supply chain for skids, compressor packaging, and piping spools.
• Establish costing and supplier quality engineering.
• Procurement of direct and indirect material for plant.
• Work with suppliers to ensure on-time production.

Job role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer -Procurement to join our SCM team at Jejuri office. You will responsible to develop supply chain for new product line, maintain healthy relationship with existing suppliers, No hindrance in production and account of material.

• Develop supply chain for various types of skids, compressor packaging & piping spools.
• Establish costing and Supplier quality engineering.
• Procurement of Direct and Indirect material for plant Critical Competencies for the Job
• Work experience as Individual as Purchase/Procurement/Supply Chain Management department
• Procurement experience in bought out buying / fabrication process. The candidate should have knowledge of fabrication and have worked with suppliers in and around Pune.
• Sound techno-commercial knowledge preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
• Knowledge of fabrication, FRP components, machining Process/ buying experience in fabricated, moulded and machined components.
• Extensive Sourcing experience in items like raw materials, standard and special bought out items especially plates, tubes, pipe, flanges, fittings and gaskets as per ASME standard.
• Should have experience of dealing in suppliers of raw material (incl. EIL approved suppliers) as stated above and have knowledge of such suppliers in and around Pune.
• Procurement experience in proprietary bought out items will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of taxes and duties, project commercial transactions and contracting.
• Knowledge of costing, fair pricing & techno-commercial negotiation.
• Demonstrates a focus on both process and results.
• Possesses ERP domain knowledge, particularly in SAP.
• Strong time-management, multitasking, and organizing skills.
• Aptitude for process improvement, attention to details, getting to root cause of problems.
