Job summary

Accenture in India seeks a Procurement Practice Specialist with 7–11 years of experience to manage end-to-end sourcing projects from simple incumbents to competitive bids. You will engage client and internal stakeholders and global suppliers, optimizing procurement through agile sourcing and RFx processes.

You will leverage spend analytics and supplier negotiations to deliver projects on time and within budget, while working a fixed shift from 3:00pm to 12:00am IST.

Qualifications

• 7–11 years of experience in sourcing and category management.
• Experience in supplier negotiations.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with e-sourcing tools and RFx processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery.
• Develop, execute and analyze RFx processes (RFP/RFQ).
• Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative information to assess suppliers.
• Work in a fixed shift from 3:00pm to 12:00am IST.

What would you do?

Manage end-to-end sourcing projects that can range from low complexity sole sourced incumbent project to higher complexity competitive projects. You will be required to work directly with the client stakeholders as well as internal Accenture stakeholders and global suppliers. You may be required to take up certain non-project related assignments as well.Agile Sourcing involves quickly and efficiently finding and acquiring resources or services needed for a project. This includes identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery. The goal is to support agile project management by being responsive and adaptable. Responsibilities include maintaining supplier relationships and optimizing procurement processes. This role is essential for keeping projects on track and within budget.Understand when & how to use a request for proposal (price and non-price factors) and RFQ (price only) and how to develop, execute and analyze the results. Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative information to assess, screen and select suppliers.

• In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems
• May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures
• The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals
• Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments
• Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside
• Individual would work in an individual contributor role
