Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Procurement Practice Associate to join the procurement management team in Mumbai. The role focuses on processing purchase orders and driving value from the spend on goods and services that run day-to-day business operations.

You will engage in supplier identification, proposals, negotiations, contracting, delivery and results analysis, contributing to cost savings and improved supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement or related field.
• Graduation in any discipline is acceptable.

What would you do?

• Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations.
• You will be working as a part of Procurement management team which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable They are involved in the identification of need finding and qualifying the suppliers requesting proposals negotiating with suppliers contracting delivery and analyzing results
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

• Responsible for executing defined scope of work agreed with the client and making sure the SLA & KPI targets are consistently met.
• Ensure effective customer and supplier relationships and support the business needs.
• Accountable for maintaining quality and service standards for the project and delivery continual improvement.
• Understand incoming requests, check quality requirements, follow up with requester where required (by phone, email) to ensure specifications of the Purchase Requisitions.
