Job summary

Princeton Digital Group (PDG) is seeking a procurement professional in Navi Mumbai to manage cost optimization for ME P equipment in data centers. You will negotiate bids, evaluate vendors, and drive end-to-end vendor relationships while coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Ideal candidates bring 7-8 years in data center procurement, strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, and a background in mechanical/electrical engineering; an MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Mech/Electrical Engineering background with equivalent (Data Centre/Telecom) Industry experience.
• MBA would be an added advantage.
• Over 5 years of procurement experience specifically in data centers, focusing on ME P equipment purchases, with a total of 7-8 years of experience across data center, telecom, construction, or related industries.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and analytical skill.
• Ability to communicate with impact and engage effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct price comparison & identify target cost areas for negotiation through analysis of bids
• Ensure accuracy in the bid comparison process by monitoring and analysing the submitted bids.
• Support the procurement head in preparation of Approval/Recommendation Notes.
• Perform Vendor Evaluation and End-to-End Vendor Relationship Management.
• Engage with cross functional business leaders (internal and external) on matters of RFP, Technical submission, and Quotation follow-up
• Ensure the achievement of Procurement targets for the project(s) at various milestones (these targets would be towards supplier support, cost, on time delivery of materials, quality, qualification, processes, and equipment).
• Responsible for overall management of Cost Savings Projects.
• First Point of contact from procurement for invoices/Purchase order related queries and responsible for resolution of these queries.

Job Responsibilities:

Internal Processes and Compliance:

• Follow, communicate, and manage detailed Procurement project procedure and communicate the same to the Engineering/ Project teams to ensure compliance with the same.
• Check basic content of Agreements.
• Review existing contracts/agreements and lead compliance in coordination with contract administrator.

MIS Reporting, Tracking and Support Activities:

• Arrange meetings with technical teams and/or vendors, draft & keep track of Minutes of meetings.
• Perform, Create & Maintain Various Reports and MIS, especially the Procurement tracker .
• Tracking Open Requisitions and Open Purchase orders.

Education Qualification:
