You will drive strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization across domestic and import channels. The role requires mandatory experience in paints or construction chemicals, expertise in raw material and packaging sourcing, and strong ERP/MS Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry or B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (Mandatory). MBA preferred.
• Experience: 15–20 years in Procurement/Supply Chain.
• Mandatory experience in Paints or Construction Chemicals industry.
• Strong sourcing and vendor-management experience for raw and packaging materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement and purchasing function.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and procurement plans.
• Manage procurement of raw materials and packaging materials.
• Handle domestic and import procurement to ensure material availability.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships and negotiate terms.

• Lead and mentor the procurement team and ensure policy compliance.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Head / General Manager – Procurement to lead the end-to-end procurement and purchasing function for a leading chemical manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in strategic sourcing, domestic and import procurement, vendor management, and cost optimization within the Paints or Construction Chemicals industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end procurement and purchasing function.

• Manage procurement of raw materials and packaging materials .
