Swish is building the next generation of food delivery, delivering fresh, affordable food to customers across cities through our network of neighborhood kitchens.

We are hiring a Procurement Manager to own sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, and supply continuity across all kitchen-critical categories. You will collaborate with Kitchen Operations, Warehousing, Quality, Finance and City teams to ensure materials, right cost and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Category Management.
• Experience in QSR, Cloud Kitchens, F&B, FMCG, Retail or similar high-volume supply chains.
• Strong vendor negotiation, commercial and contract management skills.
• Experience building and managing procurement teams.
• Good understanding of food-safety and vendor compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own procurement across grocery, dry goods, perishables, LPG, packaging, cleaning supplies and other kitchen-critical categories.
• Build category plans based on demand, kitchen expansion and seasonality.
• Drive cost savings through rate contracts, volume consolidation, benchmarking and vendor negotiations.
• Own procurement budgets, savings targets and category-level cost reporting.
• Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation, make-vs-buy and better sourcing models.
• Build and manage a reliable multi-vendor network across categories and cities.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate with and onboard new vendors.
• Own commercials including pricing, credit terms, MOQs and delivery SLAs.
• Build vendor scorecards covering quality, OTIF, pricing, compliance and service levels.
• Resolve vendor issues around quality, short supply, pricing and payments with relevant teams.

As we scale across cities, procurement becomes critical to keeping every kitchen running efficiently. We’re looking for a Procurement Manager to own sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, and supply continuity across all kitchen-critical categories.

This is a high-ownership role where you’ll work closely with Kitchen Operations, Warehousing, Quality, Finance and City teams to make sure we have the right materials, at the right cost, at the right time.

What you will work on

Procurement & Category Management

• Own procurement across grocery, dry goods, perishables, LPG, packaging, cleaning supplies and other kitchen-critical categories.
• Build category plans based on demand, kitchen expansion and seasonality.

Category Ownership

• Grocery & Dry Goods: Manage sourcing, rate contracts, quality specifications and shelf-life.
• Perishables: Drive freshness, quality, wastage control and reliable procurement cycles across F&V, dairy and protein.
• LPG & Utilities: Ensure uninterrupted supply while maintaining safety and statutory compliance.
• Packaging: Own specifications, vendor quality, cost optimization and sustainability trade-offs.
• Other Kitchen Supplies: Extend the same rigor to disposables, cleaning and sanitation supplies and other operational categories.
• Lead and develop a team of buyers/procurement executives across categories and locations.
• Set clear KPIs around cost, savings, supply availability, quality and vendor performance.
• Coach the team and build strong ownership and execution capabilities.
• Build a strong talent pipeline and succession plan for the procurement function.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure vendors and materials meet applicable food-safety and quality standards.
• Drive vendor documentation and compliance across categories, including FSSAI, GST and applicable licenses.
• Partner with the Quality team on vendor audits and closure of non-conformances.
• Ensure regulated categories such as LPG meet all applicable safety and statutory requirements.

Planning, Systems & MIS

• Own the procure-to-pay process including PO creation, approvals and GRN reconciliation.
• Work with MIS and Warehousing teams to maintain healthy Days-on-Hand and fill-rate levels.
• Maintain accurate vendor, pricing and contract data.
• Build procurement dashboards covering costs, savings, vendor performance and category health.
• Use data to identify supply risks, wastage and cost improvement opportunities.

Cross-functional Execution

• Work closely with Kitchen Operations, City teams, Warehousing, Quality and Finance to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Partner with expansion teams to make new kitchen and city launches procurement-ready.
• Ensure vendors, pricing, contracts and supply plans are in place before new kitchens go live.
• Proactively identify and solve supply risks before they impact kitchen operations.

What we are looking for

• 10+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Category Management.
• Experience in QSR, Cloud Kitchens, F&B, FMCG, Retail or similar high-volume supply chains.
• Strong experience managing multiple categories, ideally including perishables / F&V.
• Strong vendor negotiation, commercial and contract management skills.
• Experience building and managing procurement teams.
• Good understanding of food-safety and vendor compliance requirements.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with ERP or procurement systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias for execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work across functions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Willingness to travel between Bangalore and NCR/Gurgaon facilities as required.
