Job summary

Unmanned Autonomy is seeking a Procurement Manager to handle end-to-end sourcing of electronic components, mechanical parts, and services for product development and manufacturing. You will manage RFQs, negotiations, POs, and delivery schedules while ensuring cost, quality, and timely procurement.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong vendor management, and proficiency in Excel/ERP. Occasional vendor market field work and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of procurement experience in electronics/engineering domains.
• Experience with RFQs, quotations, and supplier onboarding.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong Excel and ERP proficiency.
• Knowledge of BOM-based procurement for electronics, aerospace, automotive, robotics, or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Source electronic components, PCBs, mechanical parts, cables, connectors, batteries, motors, sensors, and engineering equipment.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Manage RFQs, quotations, price negotiations, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure materials are procured at the right cost, quality, quantity, and timeline.
• Develop alternate vendors and mitigate component shortages and supply-chain risks.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, finance, stores, and quality teams and manage their purchase requests.
• Track procurement lead times and proactively expedite critical materials.
• Maintain supplier performance, pricing, procurement records, and documentation.
• Support import procurement, logistics, and vendor payment coordination where required.
• Drive cost reduction without compromising technical specifications or quality.
• Maintain good vendor relations and secure credits and better payment terms.

Preferred Skills:

Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills, understanding of engineering/BOM-based procurement, good Excel/ERP skills, commercial awareness, and experience sourcing components for electronics, aerospace, automotive, robotics, or manufacturing environments.

Well verse with online portals and handling purchases from ECOM websites

Experience : 3-5 Years

Male candidate with ability to speak in English, Kannada, Hindi
Willing to take occasional field work of visiting the vendor markets and procure tools.
Ability to drive 2 or 4 wheeler.
