Job summary

Premidis SARL is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead strategic supply chain initiatives for beverages. The role focuses on sourcing, negotiation, import coordination with Chinese suppliers, and building long-term partnerships worldwide.

The candidate will oversee end-to-end procurement, manage costs, and ensure supply continuity across multiple regions, including UAE import compliance and international logistics. Strong leadership and analytical thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• Proven experience in a senior procurement or supply chain management role.
• Experience in beverage industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of international sourcing, trade docs, and UAE import requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic supply chain and procurement plans to support business objectives within the beverage industry.
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, import coordination, and delivery management.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with Chinese manufacturers, suppliers, and trading companies.
• Manage supplier selection, price negotiations, contracts, payment terms, and procurement cost optimization.
• Oversee demand planning, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supply continuity.
• Source beverage products, raw materials, packaging materials, ingredients, and production equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with sales, production, finance, QA, and logistics teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
• Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs and mitigate supply chain risks.

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic supply chain and procurement plans to support business objectives within the beverage industry.
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, import coordination, and delivery management.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish strong business relationships with Chinese manufacturers, suppliers, and trading companies.
• Leverage Mandarin Chinese language skills to communicate directly with Chinese suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, and build long-term strategic partnerships.
• Manage supplier selection, price negotiations, contracts, payment terms, and procurement cost optimization.
• Oversee demand planning, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supply continuity to ensure timely product availability.
• Source beverage products, raw materials, packaging materials, ingredients, and production-related equipment in line with business requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, product quality, lead times, and compliance with company standards and applicable UAE import regulations.
• Coordinate with sales, production, finance, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
• Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs, improve operational efficiency, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Stay updated on beverage industry trends, international sourcing opportunities, and market developments in China.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior procurement or supply chain management role, preferably within the beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of the beverage sector, including supplier networks, raw materials, ingredients, packaging, finished products, and manufacturing requirements.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is mandatory, with the ability to communicate, negotiate, and conduct business discussions directly with Chinese suppliers.
• Established network and strong working relationships with Chinese manufacturers, suppliers, and trading companies.
• Experience in international sourcing, import and export procedures, supplier negotiations, and logistics coordination.
• Good understanding of UAE import requirements, international trade documentation, shipping processes, and customs clearance.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, supplier management capabilities, and cost-control expertise.
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers, ensure supply continuity, and build long-term strategic partnerships across international markets.
