Premier Solar Systems Private Limited is seeking a Procurement Executive to identify suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage end-to-end procurement processes for solar modules, in Secunderabad, Telangana. The ideal candidate has 2–2.5 years of procurement experience, fluent English/Hindi/Telugu, and good knowledge of SAP and logistics software.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers, arrange for transportation of purchased goods, identify and develop strategies for addressing logistical barriers.
• Monitor use of materials and resources, and ensures quality record keeping.
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
• Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
• Examine and test existing contracts.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.
• Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
• Control expenses and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
• Strategically planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
• Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle.
• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
