Job summary

ReNew is seeking an Engineer - Procurement - EBOP - Wind to oversee procurement for wind energy projects. You will leverage a BE/B.Tech in electrical engineering to coordinate with vendors and internal teams for timely, cost-efficient material supply.

Role requires 3–6 years of experience, knowledge of overseas procurement, RFQ processes, LC documentation, and budget discipline. Pune Area Office offers exposure to large-scale renewables projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering relevant to electrical energy projects.
• Experience in wind/EBOP procurement, OV procurement preferred.
• Exposure to overseas vendors and international trade terms.

Responsibilities

• Follow processes for order placements.
• Vendor evaluation and annual rating.
• Ensure timely material availability at optimum price.
• Procurement knowledge for overseas vendors.
• Support PR to pay cycle within budget.
• Prepare material requisitions and RFQ submissions.
• Compile offers and place orders after approvals.
• Handle LC documentation and advance payments.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors with proper paperwork.
• Timely repair of failed material.
• Understand contract terms and conditions.

Role - Engineer - Procurement - EBOP - Wind

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech - Electrical Engineering / ECE / ETC / EEE

Experience: 3 - 6 Years

Location - Pune - Area Office

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure to follow processes for order placements
• Vendor evaluation & its rating on yearly basis.
• Timely material availability as per required technical requirement at Optimum price.
• Knowledge of procurement from overseas vendors.
• Help team members for smoothly completion of PR to pay cycle within given budget
• Compilation of material purchase requisition & forward request for Quotation (RFQ) to the approved vendors.
• Compilation of Offers & placement of order after getting approval
• Completion of documents for advance payments & letter of credit (LC). Ensure to get it release as per agreed terms & conditions
• Ensure timely releasing the payments to the vendors by proper completion of documentations formalities.
• Timely repairing of failed material
• Knowledge about terms and conditions of contracts
